Hacked VGA visuals

This project was made in one day during the Hackathon of Interaction Design ArtEZ. The Hackathon is a day where old electronic devices are gathered to "hack" into a new interesting device. With the great assistance of teacher and artist Ralf Baecker, I tweaked the individual channels of a VGA cable. The RGB output of the VGA cable shortly makes contact with the rotating disc that has little conductive strips on it to display a visual back onto the monitor. I teamed up with students Oscar van Leest and Sjef van Beers who took care of the audio that picks up light coming from the monitor. They applied a feedback loop with a distance audio pickup device.
